YOUR DIET DOESN’T HAVE TO HAVE A NAME: You Can Just Eat Real Food

our society is so used to eating junk food that eating real food is considered dieting

don’t get me wrong I’ve been vegan, paleo, vegetarian etc … searching for healing and wanting to feel better. in all my years of experimenting with different diets and talking to numerous people who have been doing the same - I have found the simplest and EASIEST way to eat well and feel great is to stick to real, whole foods as much as possible …

what is real food 🤔
foods that have not been industrially processed or foods that have not had their natural qualities interfered with - think food in its natural state!

real food is packed with antioxidants and nutrients that will leave you feeling less inflamed and more energized ✨

you may also start to feel relief from some “dis”ease in the body and weight loss may happen naturally

how to eat real food 🍊
1. eat lots of plants! vibrant fruits, crisp veggies and fresh greens and herbs
2. consume animal proteins that have eaten well themselves
3. look for foods with 5 ingredients or less (they can have a little more you just want the ingredients to be real - rule of thumb if you can’t pronounce the word you prob don’t want it in your bod!)
4. shop the outer parameter of the grocery store as this is where you’ll find most of the unprocessed foods
5. AVOID SEED OILS! soybean, canola, rapeseed, sunflower, safflower or hydrogenated oils
6. keep an eye out for hidden sugar. pretty much anything ending in “ose” dextrose, sucrose, fructose as well as corn syrup. unrefined sugars like honey, maple syrup and molasses are what we want but limited amounts

if this all sounds foreign to you do not worry! it is important to become familiar with some of this information and you can slowly start making changes to your lifestyle as you go

the little changes make a big different over time 🤍

share this with anyone who might find this helpful 🫶🏻
