For years, I struggled with chronic inflammation, eventually diagnosed as Lyme disease and co-infections. Despite treatment, I faced ongoing symptoms like fatigue, headaches, and anxiety, exacerbated by allergies and food sensitivities. At 21, cutting out gluten brought significant relief, sparking my journey of discovering the impact of diet on healing.

This inspired me to study nutrition at San Diego State. Though I enjoyed it, clinical nutrition wasn't my passion; I loved food! With years of experience in the restaurant industry, I often wished to merge these interests. After college, unsure of my direction, I became a certified health coach and personal trainer. Working with clients, I noticed a common theme: many joked, "Can't you just cook for me?"

And here we are, blending my love for nutrition and food into action! Remembering the struggle of finding gluten and dairy-free options on-the-go, I crafted our vegan, gluten-free, and anti-inflammatory bowls to help others facing similar challenges or looking to clean up their diet. Creating new menu items is a blast, and I especially enjoy crafting juice recipes—it feels like mixology, but with turmeric shots instead of tequila! I deeply believe in the healing power of food, alongside nature, laughter, and human connection. At SOULBER, we're all about gratitude, growth, and community.

When I'm not in the kitchen, you'll find me exploring forest trails with my rescue pup Ricky, practicing hot yoga, trying new restaurants, and sharing laughs with friends. I'm incredibly grateful for this journey and the amazing people I've met along the way. Thanks for being a part of it!
